Is it possible to compete in the event?

The official competitions of such a level (The FIA International Cup is a worldwide series) only do allow participation of those drivers who have the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) licence. You can take part in the Russian Championship classification only if you have the FIA or the RAF (Russian Automobile Federation) competition license. 1. There're many ways of becoming a racing driver, but each of them will take some big financial commitment. And even if you have a talent similar to Schumacher's, to be noticed you need your own... at least Jean Todt or Flavio Briatore... and many years of trainings. Having a solid budget (you should be ready to spend around 50.000 euro on tests and different preparations) will make the process go faster as you can apply to a professional tutor. Within few weeks of trainings somewhere in steppes or in the deserts of Morocco you will turn into a sportsman capable of competing in official events. But don't expect instant results, prizes and podiums - it will come as your experience grows, and only in case you're working really hard. 2. To become a racing driver without solid investments is much more difficult, but possible. But still, you have to train much. It's better and cheaper to begin with go-karts, and as your skills develop - switch to some more serious discipline. If your results prove to be outstanding, it will make sense to take part in some amateur competitions. It won't take much money, but at the same time will allow you to build some good and useful relationships with more professional sportsmen.
