Overall (up to March 6th 2009) the following search systems (Yandex, Rambler, Google, Yahoo, Altavista) helped to find 18 previews и 36 reports about the competition (without repeated publications and those on the official web-site of the race), audience of which (based on average estimations during the week from February 26th to march 6th) estimates 1 200 000 visitors (overall about 171 000 visitors per day). In the ru-net about 189 000 pages with the «Northern Forest 2009» phrase were found (according to Google).

TV:

More than 100 minutes (including repeats) of news reports were broadcast on the following TV-channels (Vesti, RTR-Sport, 7TV, CTO, Don-TR, 5Channel, NTV, Ren-TV). Three 13-minutes programmes "Russian Rally-Raids" are scheduled for broadcast on the following channels (7ТВ, Авто+), in addition to a 26-minutes programme on an Ukrainian TV, a 26-minutes programme on the Drive-TV channel and a news report on NTV.
